Pretty Pendants

I've been on a FIMO hiatus for about fifteen years. I love sculpting and I would like to give thanks to the geniuses behind FIMO Soft! No more gnarled fingers, no cramped hands, no noxious odors. And, I have been having a blast!

On top of that, I sold my very first piece on Etsy! Same day I listed it - definitely made me feel great!

Many of the pieces are marbled shapes I call "Signature Swirls". There's a long story behind it, but that shape has followed me for over 20 years and I even have it tattooed on my body. (Go ahead and guess where...maybe I'll tell. And, it's not anywhere you'd have to use crude vocabulary!)

Please visit my Etsy shop to see the newly posted pendants and beads. Purchase, let me know what you like, I'd even be happy creating a custom piece just for you!

Karma Made Me Do It

I finally snagged a Treasury on Etsy - they're a lot more difficult to come by than one might think. Sometimes hundreds of people wait until one becomes available and then it's almost like a free-for-all!

But, like I said, I was fortunate to be in the right place at the right time and give a little love back to the artists that have featured me and my work. Click on the image below to view until Sunday, October 28th.

If you happen to miss this Treasury, you can ALWAYS visit these lovely artists!

relief from the madness of life

I don't even know what that means. I understand the words individually, but not all jumbled up like that, like in a sentence. Here's the Treasury where I found it - a pair of my earrings is featured. You can click on the image to view until Saturday, October 27th.

Heide has been a great supporter of my art and a fabulous "advertiser" via her Treasury's. I have spoken to her briefly, but always appreciate when she features my work! Please click on her banner to view some of her wonderful art!

Fiercely Independent - A Rose of a Different Color

I've never been the "bad girl" in my family (maybe on occasion but I left most of that to my sister!) and for sure I have always been the black sheep, odd-ball, dances to a different drummer, artistic weird-o. Honestly, while these character traits have been known to drive my friends and family crazy, I mostly enjoy being me, and they enjoy the handmade gifts! Which is why I felt a sly thrill to see the title let alone the feature of my work on Art Life Newsblog!

Pippit Carlington, the genius behind Art Life Newsblog is also the creative genius behind Giftbearer - Stand Out! ***Distinctive Quality Jewelry***, a shop on Etsy. When you visit her shop you will find exactly what she promises - wearable works of art. Please click on the banner below to visit her shop!

Orange you glad you picked me!

Orange is a bright, sunny, yet strong color that my nephew LOVES and looks terrible on me with my complexion. My painting, Julie/Amazon is featured in a new Treasury on Etsy and I couldn't be more tickled. Click on the image to view until Friday, October 26th.

LOL Baby, lots of love for your little one, creates handcrafted children's clothing and accessories. She creates and carries some of the most adorable children's wearables I've ever seen - especially the pirate onesie I purchased for my brand new nephew! Please visit her shop and be delighted - just click on the banner below!

Spotlight on Staci Rose Designs

Honestly, I started my foray into the art world with performing arts. I am also a singer and WAY back when also put on tap and ballet recitals that would make my grandfather the proudest man on the face of the earth.

So, yeah, I like the reason I enjoyed Wanderlust & Pixie Dust's blog feature about me, my Etsy shop, and my work.

Whozits and Whatzits Galore

Some great Whatyamacallits. A little bit of everything.

Artists not only create the beautiful portraits, dreamy watercolored floral arrangements, or stunning landscapes that adorn your walls. Artists paint, and sculpt, felt, collage, photograph - they are involved with functional art like pottery, glassworks and jewelry, clothing design and quilt making. Artists influence architecture and landscape, create company logos and branding as well as the commercial that accompanies that after the movie or television show you just watched that artists of myriad backgrounds came together to create. Because, that's what artists do - we create.

Among other things, I create sets of distinguishable wine charms and was very pleased to see my fishies featured in a new Treasury. Please click on the image to view until Wednesday, October 24th.

Pop-o-licious Art by Kris Jean created this Treasury and I am pleased to support her fabulous art, as well! Her art is distinguished by bold colors, contrasts, and lines! Always unique, always a combination of a lot of influences. Please click on her banner below to visit her Etsy shop.

Guest Artist
