Katrin Lerman Jewelry - Woven Treasures
Welcome to my store!
All of my pieces are entirely hand made by me using sterling silver wire and high quality genuine gemstones. First, I create the desired shape/shell for a piece out of thick sterling silver wire. Then I string on the gemstones and wrap the entire piece with feet upon feet of thin sterling silver wire to give it a finished look. I add tiny sterling silver beads to the frame during wrapping to give it more dimension.

74) purrfectlydevine

Handmade Beaded Jewelry - Something for Everyone
I am relatively new to beading and I love taking classes to learn new techniques. I began selling because co-workers liked my work and asked if I would sell to them. I opened a shop because people I didn't know would comment about how much they liked my jewelry. Friends encouraged me and helped me get set up and my husband is supportive of my efforts.

75) thumbelinacreations (Jonquil)
http://thumbelinacreations.etsy.com
http://thumbelinacreations.spaces.live.com
Thank you for shopping at Thumbelina Creations!
Jonquil Thiessen is a stay-at-home mom of three boys who loves to be creative in many different ways. She loves to sing, knit, crochet, draw, scrapbook, write music, and make jewelry. She would feel lost if she wasn't able to be creative. Jonquil's favorite medium is ... well ... It's hard to pick a favorite. She likes jewelry, and is considering opening a knitting store as well. Her main priority is her family. Etsy has become a valuable method of continuing with her art and still being able to love and take care of her family.

76) luckygirltrading

http://luckygirltrading.blogspot.com
Make Every Day Your Lucky Day
In the spring of 2001 I was overwhelmed by sadness and huge piles of clutter. My marriage was in the midst of a very ugly ending, and he had left tons of his stuff behind. I suddenly realized that I was a very lucky girl to be rid of him, and Lucky Girl Trading Company was born. I've also discovered working with glass--one of my all-time favorite creative outlets. I truly am a Lucky Girl! Every day I gather pretty, sparkly things and send them to people. I imagine a person opening their mail and taking out their new pendant or chain or pouch. It's perfect--they have a huge smile on their face--and so do I. I'd love for that person to be you!

77) littlebrownbird (Mary)
http://littlebrownbird.etsy.com
http://thelittlebrownbird.blogspot.com
Welcome to Little Brown Bird!! Hancrafted jewelry using sterling silver, .999 Fine Silver, semiprecious stones, lampwork glass beads, and Japanese Chiyogami paper. Bracelets, Earrings, and pendant necklaces in every style. Still, my love for all things shiny keeps me happily engrossed in jewelry design. Every piece created is a product of a restless imagination. I prefer to use semiprecious stones or interesting glass beads in my work and love to pair them with sterling and .999 Fine Silver, yet I will not overlook the aesthetic value of a beautiful bead or found object simply because it is a base metal. My style is ever changing and evolving. As a result, you will find a little bit of everything in my work. I don't believe in stifling my creative energy and will try my hand at just about anything.

78) gilbea
http://www.gilbea.etsy.com
http://gilbea.blogspot.com
Welcome! I hope you enjoy this silky universe :) I am a silk painter. Lately I have been trying to experiment and make all kinds of different stuff with this fabric. For a few years I have been seriously working on silk fabrics, making all kind of different stuff, from silk paintings that hang from the walls to silk scarves or brooches and t-shirts.

79) Belladio
http://belladio.etsy.com
http://belladio.blogspot.com
I make jewelry. Right now, my passion is wirewrapped jewelry. I do make some of my own beads out of polymer clay. I have been working on a new line of broken china jewelry. I am a Jill of many trades, not a master in any of them. I started beading about 7 years ago. A friend and I thought it would be a fun hobby to do when we met up for play dates. I eventually decided that I needed to expand my horizons and started playing with polymer clay. Teaching myself from books and tuts on the internet. I took one workshop on PMC and loved it. I became interested in wire work techniques on day when I came across Eni Oken's website. I was blown away with her work and new that I had to try this out. I am a long way from being in her class, but I am having a lot of fun trying. As far as broken china jewelry, this is something that pulls at my heart strings. My Nana loved china and had a beautiful teapot and teacup collection. So, to me, when I work on these pieces I have a bit of her with me. I know that sounds a bit mushy, but, hey, I am a hopeless romantic and a grandma's girl.

My items combine silver, copper, crystals, semi precious gemstones and my own handmade Dichroic pendants. Thanks for looking.

Comfortable and Cute

My entire life I have been cute. Not pretty or beautiful or ravishing...cute. And, that's okay with me. I'm very short, have short red hair, freckles...cute, see? (I've grown maybe a foot since this photo was taken when I was five...)

And, comfortable is something I seriously strive for.

It was a pleasure to see the Etsy Tresury that was sincerely Comfortable and Cute and included my Vino Hot Stuff Wine Corks Trivet! You can view Belgium artist Art Mind's selections by clicking the image below until Thursday, January 31st:

Longing for Warmth

San Francisco is unlike any city in California. There are no definite seasons, weather is unpredictable, and right now we are experiencing rain, and wind, and miserable weather causing random black-outs.

However, we could also be talking about mid-summer! And, like Elis Cooke, fellow Etsy artist and EBSQ & WWAO member, I am longing for a little warmth! She created a wonderful Etsy Treasury, ecstatically including my splatter ceramic bowl! You can view by clicking the image below until Tuesday, January 29th:

Into the Blystic - Elis Cooke Original Art

You Make My Day Award

Just to have someone express their feelings about you - something we do less and less, taking for granted the important people in our lives - is overwhelming and heartening! So, when Diane Clancy, a fellow WWAO member and Etsy artist intimated at a little special something on her blog, I KNEW it was going to be good - she's so supportive and a complete dear besides.

Like Diane points out on her blog, Diane Clacy's Art Blog:

Delightfully, Diane has bestowed the "You Make My Day" Award. She received it, I think, for the same reason she gave it to me. She is simply an extremely supportive person and inspires me to take the time and do the same.

So here are the rules: “Give the award to up to 10 people whose blogs bring you happiness and inspiration and make you feel so happy about blogland! Beware! You may get the award several times!”

And, I can't wait to reciprocate!

Diane Clancy's Art - Enhance Your Sprit

"I create vibrant paintings that feature color and vision to inspire and uplift people. I feel very blessed to have this opportunity to express myself through painting. I love that people say my artwork enhances their lives. I have cards and prints I have printed from my original paintings. I use high quality paper and archival inks so that these images will last for many decades. I offer ACEO (ATC) 2.5 x 3.5" editions for any of these images. I offer some original ACEO originals also."

Etsy Featured Artist - Staci Rose

I was contacted today by Cheryl, fellow Etsy artist and author of On A Thousand Hills blog. She let me know that she created a feature on her blog - and it really is very nice!

On A Thousand Hills - Bead Art & Jewelry
I can't remember how old I was when I first did any crafts, but I know it was pretty young. Now I am dedicating more time to be able to learn and grow in this art form. Yes, it IS an art form. I love playing with my beads and seeing what I can come up with to make.

Be Still My Heart

Sometimes you have one of those days, weeks, months...lives...and need to hear with your own ears, see with your own eyes, feel with you own body, that there is still love in the universe just for you.

I have long admired Elis Cooke and find that much of her art emotes that such a love exists for us all. And, I feel elated to find my Hearts & Kisses magic Mirror included in her Etsy Treasury. You can view the love until Saturday, January 12th, by clicking the image below:

Into the Blystic - Elis Cooke Original Art

The Naked Truth - EBSQ Artists Rock Artistic Nudes

“Men's magazines often feature pictures of naked ladies. Women's magazines also often feature pictures of naked ladies. This is because the female body is a beautiful work of art, while the male body is hairy and lumpy and should not be seen by the light of day.”
~Richard Roeper (columnist & film critic)

Chew on that as you view Donna Gill Colestock's new Etsy Treasury. The female form is beautiful and it's own work of art - one of the main reasons I feel so naturally pulled to use women's bodies as the subject of my art. I am not alone - you can view one of my original female nude paintings in this Treasury along with some very talented artists! Click on the image below to view through Sunday, January 13th:

GreenBiscuit - Donna Gill Colestock
"All of the pieces I paint or create are done with the same intense passion with which I approach everything." She is a fellow member of EBSQ and Etsy artist! Click on her banner and view the fabulous work in her shop!

Step into the wonderful world of Staci Rose!

Welcome to my world! Be sure to wipe your shoes on the matt - it's been raining non-stop here in San Francisco! Can I get you some cocoa, tea, art?

Today, I was fortunate enough to be featured by Debbie, fellow Etsy artist and author of Craftymoose Crafts Blog. I hope you enjoy as much as I did!
